We're excited to announce punk/new-wave band, Spizzenergi, at the John Peel Centre this November! Formed January 1979, led by vocalist/guitarist Spizz, and with almost yearly name changes, you may know as Athletico Spizz 80, Spizzoil or The Spizzles.

Notably, Spizzenergi were the first band to top the then newly created UK Indie Chart early in 1980 with their single “Where’s Captain Kirk?“.
